Construction
PlushBeds offers the botanical bliss in three sizes, 9 inches, 10 inches, and 12 inches. All three of these models have same layers but with different thickness which makes them feel different. For this review, let’s take a loot at the construction of botanical bliss 10″ model.
The cover is made of 100% organic cotton with a layer of wool which is knitted, and not woven. It allows maximum breathability and air flow to the mattress.
The first layer is 1 inches of pure New Zealand wool which is naturally anti-allergic. It is great for people with sensitive skin who get allergies from synthetic or other bedding materials. This layer also allows additional air flow and breathability.
The second layer is made of 3 inches of 100% natural Talalay latex. It is a plush comfort layer which offers pressure relief and bounce while keeping the mattress cooler through out the night. This layer provides optimal support to the sleeper regardless of the position they sleep in. Talalay latex is naturally resistant to molds and mildew which creates a healthy sleeping environment.
The third layer is 6 inches of ARPICO Organic latex which is produced naturally from the sap of rubber trees. This layer provides support to the sleeper and shape to the mattress. ARPICO latex prevents the mattress from pre mature sagging and provides longevity to the mattress.
Firmness
PlushBeds offers four levels of firmness with their mattresses, soft, medium,medium firm, and extra firm. The soft one is rated as 3.5 out of 10 on firmness scale (10 being the firmest), medium one is rated as 5 out of 10, medium firm is rated is as 6.5 out of 10, and extra firm is rated as 8.5 out of 10. This means that there is an option for everyone out there. If you prefer soft and cushiony feel then you can opt for the soft model or if you need additional support from your mattress then you can opt for the extra firm model. Motion Isolation
